Are psychologists helpful to others?
I'll begin with the premise that most folks WISH it were so. Most folks seek out a psychologist due to unbearable pain and want real help.
Psychologists are helpful to themselves. Providing a listening ear is fairly easy and now insurance pays them for this "service". However, the client is tasked with supplying the answers, so............what exactly is the point?
Let me know if you get any insight.
